The Process of Making Donuts!

Doughnuts are usually deep fried from a flour dough, but other types of batters can also be used. Various toppings and flavors are used for different types, such as sugar, chocolate or maple glazing.

After you choose the type of donuts you wish to make, you fist have to make your dough, by mixing all of your ingedients together. Ingedients may include but are not limited to:

2 eggs, 4 cups of flour, 1/4 cup of sugar, 1/8 cup of milk, 3/4 cup of unsalted butter, 1/4 tsp of salt, and vegetable oil for frying.

Frosting Donut Dough

After you form your dough and icing, cut out a circle in the middle and allow it to rise, it's time to fry it! make sure your have a pot of oil that is up to 375°F. When you have the right temperature, dump your dough in! Make sure to flip your donut so it cooks evenly! Let them fry until they turn a light golden brown on both sides.

Now that you have your donut cooked, its time to add your glazing! Make sure your icing is in a bowl, and dunk your donut's in halfway! Then place them on a rack to catch any excess icing, and serve while warm!
